Yusuf, a Palestinian in his fifties, kidnaps a soldier, and takes him to a dark cave seeking revenge for the humiliation he and his wife experienced in a military checkpoint. During the long night, he will attempt to create for himself a new internal order determining if the way to salvation is passing through the native impulse or through remorse.
