Menachem is a Holocaust survivor living in Tel Aviv. When he receives a letter that had been lost in the mail for 40 years, it brings back a flood of memories. A slow and compelling study of an aging man; his fears of the thugs who exploit the elderly people in his neighborhood, and his memories of his family from so long ago, this moving film is an examination of the sad and lonely existence of many Holocaust survivors today.
